Installing 10mm Twin Wall Polycarbonate

The internal channels of multiwall polycarbonate should run down the direction of the roof slope so that condensation within the sheet structure can drain correctly.

The sheet ends should be finished using suitable sealing and breather tapes together with compatible end closures. Correct glazing bars should be used between sheets and allowance should be made for thermal expansion and contraction.

Clear, Bronze or Opal Polycarbonate?

Clear polycarbonate is ideal where maximum daylight is the priority.

For south-facing or particularly sunny roofs, Bronze or Opal polycarbonate may be more suitable where reducing glare and solar brightness is important.
