Masterplastics.co.uk is operated by Master Plastics SW Ltd. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Master Plastics SW Ltd. Master Plastics SW Ltd offers this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.

By visiting our site and/ or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/ or contributors of content.

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our website. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any services. If these Terms of Service are considered an offer, acceptance is expressly limited to these Terms of Service.

Any new features or tools which are added to the current store shall also be subject to the Terms of Service. You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time on this page. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and/or changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

General Terms

All sizes given are approximate. Manufacturer’s terms and conditions will apply to the installation of certain products.

Many products on this site carry Manufacturers’ guarantee; this is supplied by the manufacturer and not by Master Plastics.

The terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a customer.

Deliveries over 20kg Glass and items over 1.5m long

Please ensure you have the appropriate personnel required for the delivery to ensure you comply with the

Manual Handling Regulations 1992.For more information is it - http://www.hse.gov.uk/pubns/indg143.pdf .

It is not the drivers responsibility to carry goods on to site.

If you can not provide personnel please contact us prior to delivery so extra personnel can be sent. There is a £100 per delivery charge for this service per person. Bulky products 3m or longer or products over 40kg may require two extra personnel for safe unload.

Glass Deliveries

Please ensure a safe clean flat surface is ready for the delivery of glass timber battens or carpet is required to prevent breakages.

We reserve the right to terminate deliveries where the above conditions are not met. You will be recharged for re delivery  £20.00 plus £1.00 per mile plus vat.

Deliveries to UK Islands

For deliveries to Scotish Highlands, Islands around the UK incluiding Ireland there may be an extra delivery charge requested by the  local carrier who delivers in your area. These charges are extra to the charge on our site. Orders to these areas are not guaranteed in the event extra charges apply we will contact you. We reserve the right to cancel order where delivery charges are higher than the amount paid.

Unwanted Goods

Orders may be cancelled within 7 working days without giving a reason. The customer is responsible for all charges incurred in returning goods, which will differ from those of the delivery charge. All other monies paid will be refunded by cheque within 30 days, The 7 day cancellation period will commence on the day following  that on which the customer receives their order. Goods must be returned in the same condition as delivered, therefore cellophane protection should not be removed and goods not cut or drilled. Boxed items must be returned complete, not part used. After 14 days a 50% handling charge will be applied to all returned goods. For security all refunds are made by cheque.

ALL made to measure products cannot be refunded once the order has been made.

Corrugated Sheets

There is a 25% restocking charge for any corrugated sheet orders that are cancelled during or after the delivery. Any unwanted sheets will need to returned to us at your own cost.

Important

GRP Products are made to order. Ensure your measurements are correct and that you have chosen the right product for your needs. As they are made to order, GRP products are non-returnable.

Made to order product also include but are not limited to made to order roofs porches windows doors car ports and some canopies. 

Returns

Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Made to measure items including UPVc Products & GRP Made to measure products.

Returns

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. Unless advised to do so.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)

Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Please note, unwanted goods must be returned at the customer's cost.


Unwanted Goods

Orders may be cancelled within 7 working days of receiving the goods without giving a reason. You have 14 days to return unwanted products to us. The customer is responsible for all charges incurred in returning goods where the delivery has already taken place, which will differ from the original delivery charge. If the product/s is returned after 14 days a 50% handling charge will be applied to all returned goods (30 days maximum period for returns). For security, all refunds are made by the original payment method or cheque.


Made to measure products CANNOT be refunded or cancelled once confirmed, manufactured or in the process of manufacturing.


Damages

All products leave us in good condition please check you items when they arrive. Scratches and dents in the plastic will be assumed to have happened after delivery if not notified within 7 days.

Late or missing goods (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.  If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@masterplastics.co.uk and send your item to 3 Small Street Bristol St Philips United Kingdom BS2 0SQ.

Product Tolerances:

Long length products like fascia boards have tolerance of -/+ 5mm

Shipping

To return your product, you should mail your product to 3 Small Street Bristol St Philips United Kingdom BS2 0SQ.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over £50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

SECTION 1 – DELIVERY TERMS

We use several methods to deliver your goods depending on the products ordered. These include Royal Mail, Yodel, Courier and Freight delivery companies.

We will contact you, by email, the day your delivery is being despatched to confirm its packed despatched. Most deliveries 98% will arrive on time. Always check your delivery for damage when it is delivered before signing, all goods sent by us are insured against damage until you sign, signing unchecked does not cover the delivery against damage.

Do not book your builder until your materials are on site as some deliveries do go wrong and we are unable to compensate you for your builders time.

For deliveries to Islands around the UK excluding Ireland there may be an extra delivery charge requested by your local carrier that delivers in your area.

Please note when you receive your goods you must check them for damage before you sign for them. Once signed as received in good condition claims for damaged goods are not covered by our carrier’s insurance company (signing unchecked will not cover you). In the event a delivery arrives damaged we will replace all damaged parts free of charge if you have signed for as damaged.

Storage

We send products wrapped in protective packaging to avoid damage. When the delivery has arrived you need to remove the outer packaging. Do not store plastic products in the packaging or inner bags in direct sunlight this will avoid damage to the products due to over heating. This does not include protection film applied to the product.

Customers that use this site to order will agree to the terms and conditions of use. If you do not agree with these terms and conditions you will not be able to use this site.

Master Plastics reserve the right to refuse any order without giving reason or to request further information so as to allow that order to be processed. You will receive an automatic email upon placing an order this is only an acknowledgement that your order has been received.

Your order will be acknowledged by email on the understanding that delivery is subject to stock availability. When items are out of stock you will be notified via your e-mail address or by telephone as to when your order can be processed if this is not within 21 days you can cancel your order and a full refund will be made.

SECTION 2 - ONLINE STORE TERMS

You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose nor may you, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws).

You must not transmit any worms or viruses or any code of a destructive nature.

A breach or violation of any of the Terms will result in an immediate termination of your Services.

SECTION 2a - GENERAL CONDITIONS

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

You understand that your content (not including credit card information), may be transferred unencrypted and involve (a) transmissions over various networks; and (b) changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices. Credit card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks.

You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service or any contact on the website through which the service is provided, without express written permission by us.

The headings used in this agreement are included for convenience only and will not limit or otherwise affect these Terms.

We are not responsible if information made available on this site is not accurate, complete or current. The material on this site is provided for general information only and should not be relied upon or used as the sole basis for making decisions without consulting primary, more accurate, more complete or more timely sources of information. Any reliance on the material on this site is at your own risk.

This site may contain certain historical information. Historical information, necessarily, is not current and is provided for your reference only. We reserve the right to modify the contents of this site at any time, but we have no obligation to update any information on our site. You agree that it is your responsibility to monitor changes to our site.

We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time.

Certain products or services may be available exclusively online through the website. These products or services may have limited quantities and are subject to return or exchange only according to our Return Policy.

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours and images of our products that appear at the store. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display of any colour will be accurate.

We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our products or Services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that we offer. All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at anytime without notice, at the sole discretion of us. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Any offer for any product or service made on this site is void where prohibited.

SECTION 6 - ACCURACY OF BILLING AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION

We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the e-mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors.

You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.

Invoices are sent with deliveries unless agreed prior to depatch on all orders.

Occasionally there may be information on our site or in the Service that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, product shipping charges, transit times and availability. warranty and disclaimer

Seller warrants that the purchased Product is free from defects in materials and workmanship at the time of delivery. If an analysis is stated on the face of the Invoice, it is not intended to be a complete analysis and is not to be regarded as a specification or warranty, unless specifically stated in writing to be such.

limitation of liability

Buyer acknowledges and agrees that seller’s liability for any claims with respect to the products shall not exceed the amount paid by buyer for the products under the invoice. Such limitations on seller’s liability hereunder shall apply even if seller’s liability is due in whole or in part to its own negligence. Any action by or on behalf of Buyer or its successors or assigns for breach of this document must be commenced within one (1) year after the cause of action as accrued.

return of material

Upon delivery of Product, Buyer shall have five (5) days to inspect Product and notify Seller, in writing, of any defective goods or other cause for rejection. Buyer agrees that five (5) day period provides Buyer a reasonable opportunity to inspect the Product. Such notification shall identify each and every reason for any rejection of Product. Buyer’s failure to reject Product within such five (5) day period shall constitute a waiver of Buyer’s inspection right and an unqualified and irrevocable acceptance of the Product by Buyer.

indemnity

Buyer shall defend, indemnify and hold harmless Seller and its affiliated or related companies from and against any and all claims, losses, liability, damages and expenses including, but not limited to, attorneys’ fees and cost of defense arising from, related to or in any way connected with or alleged to arise from or out of any asserted deficiencies or defects in Product caused by any alteration or modification thereof by Buyer with or without Seller’s consent, or improper handling or storage by Buyer, the breach of any term or condition stated herein, Buyer’s failure to label Product or Buyer’s improper labeling of Product regardless of whether the labeling was done with or without the advice of Seller, or any act or omission of Buyer including any Claims for or resulting from any injury to person (including death) or damage to property or for economic loss, several or comparative negligence, breach of agreement, breach of warranty or other breach of duty of or by Indemnitee or as a result of Indemnitee’s strict or other product liability. The foregoing indemnification shall not be construed to eliminate or in any way reduce any other indemnification or right which Indemnitee has by law.

payment

Net cash thirty (30) days from the date of Invoice. Amounts not paid within thirty (30) days are overdue and shall accrue interest at a rate of one and one-half percent (1-1/2%) per month or the highest allowed by law, whichever is less. Buyer shall reimburse Seller for any costs incurred in collecting past due sums or any other amounts owed by Buyer for any reason whatsoever, including, but not limited to, court costs and attorneys’ fees.

governing law and arbitration

This document shall be interpreted and governed by the law of the State of America, excluding its conflicts of laws rules. The parties specifically exclude the application of the United Nations Convention on the Sale of Goods.
