Strong & Lightweight Polycarbonate Roofing

Polycarbonate provides excellent impact resistance while remaining considerably lighter and easier to handle than traditional glass. The twin wall construction adds rigidity while keeping the overall sheet weight low.

Sheets can be cut to size and installed using compatible polycarbonate glazing bars, end closures, sealing tapes and suitable roofing fixings.

UV Protected Polycarbonate

The sheet incorporates UV protection for exterior use, helping protect the polycarbonate against degradation caused by prolonged exposure to sunlight.

For the best long-term performance, always install the sheet with the UV-protected face positioned towards the outside of the roof and follow the correct installation instructions.

Installing 10mm Twin Wall Polycarbonate

The internal channels of the sheet should always run down the direction of the roof slope. This allows condensation within the channels to drain correctly.

Suitable sealing and breather tapes should be fitted to the sheet ends, together with compatible end closures. Allowance must also be made for the natural thermal expansion and contraction of polycarbonate.
