Installing 10mm Twin Wall Polycarbonate

The internal channels of multiwall polycarbonate should run down the direction of the roof slope so that condensation within the sheet structure can drain correctly.

The sheet ends should be finished using suitable sealing and breather tapes together with compatible end closures. Correct glazing bars should be used between sheets and sufficient allowance should be made for thermal expansion and contraction.

Clear, Bronze or Opal Polycarbonate?

Opal polycarbonate is ideal where you want natural daylight combined with a softer, diffused appearance and reduced glare.

Clear polycarbonate is the better choice where maximum daylight is the priority, while Bronze polycarbonate provides a tinted appearance and helps reduce solar brightness.
