Our 10mm Opal Twin Wall Polycarbonate Sheet is a strong, lightweight roofing sheet designed to provide excellent natural daylight while helping to reduce harsh glare beneath the roof.

Strong & Lightweight Polycarbonate Roofing

Polycarbonate offers excellent impact resistance while remaining much lighter and easier to handle than traditional glass. The twin wall construction provides additional rigidity and creates an insulating air space within the sheet.

For open-sided structures such as canopies, pergolas and carports, 10mm twin wall polycarbonate provides an economical and practical roofing solution where high levels of thermal insulation are not required.

UV Protected for Exterior Use

The polycarbonate incorporates UV protection to help protect the sheet against degradation caused by prolonged exposure to sunlight.

For the best long-term performance, the sheet should always be installed with the UV-protected face towards the outside of the roof.

Installing 10mm Twin Wall Polycarbonate

The internal channels of the sheet should run down the direction of the roof slope. This allows condensation within the sheet structure to drain correctly.

The sheet ends should be finished using the appropriate sealing and breather tapes together with compatible end closures. Suitable polycarbonate glazing bars should be used between sheets, and sufficient allowance must be made for thermal expansion and contraction.

Clear, Bronze or Opal Polycarbonate?

Opal polycarbonate is a good choice where you want natural daylight but prefer a softer, more evenly distributed light beneath the roof.

Clear polycarbonate is best where maximum light transmission is the main priority, while Bronze polycarbonate provides a tinted appearance that helps reduce solar brightness and glare.
