Top Edge Polycarbonate Sealing Tape

The solid anti-dust tape is used on the upper end of a multiwall polycarbonate sheet to seal the open channels or flutes.

Sealing the top edge helps prevent contaminants from entering the internal channels of the sheet, helping maintain a cleaner finished appearance.

Solid Tape for the Top of Polycarbonate Sheets

This solid tape is intended for the top edge of the polycarbonate sheet. The bottom edge normally requires the appropriate vented anti-dust tape so that condensation within the sheet channels can drain correctly.

Solid Tape at the Top - Vented Tape at the Bottom

For a typical multiwall polycarbonate roof installation, use solid anti-dust tape at the top of the sheet and the appropriate vented anti-dust tape at the bottom.

The lower vented tape can then be protected with the appropriate polycarbonate sheet closure, which also provides a drip detail above the guttering.

Always check that you have the correct width of tape for the thickness and type of polycarbonate sheet being installed.
