Our 10mm Bronze Twin Wall Polycarbonate Sheet is a strong, lightweight roofing sheet ideal for canopies, carports, pergolas, patio covers, bike shelters, sheds, lean-to roofs and many other outdoor roofing projects.

This sheet measures 6000mm long x 700mm wide x 10mm thick. The bronze tint allows plenty of natural daylight through while helping to reduce glare and the intensity of direct sunlight compared with clear polycarbonate.

Bronze polycarbonate is particularly useful for sunny and south-facing roofs where good natural light is wanted but some additional solar shading is beneficial.

Strong & Lightweight Polycarbonate Roofing

Polycarbonate provides excellent impact resistance while remaining considerably lighter and easier to handle than traditional glass. The twin wall construction adds rigidity while creating an insulating air space within the sheet.

For open-sided structures such as canopies, carports and pergolas, 10mm twin wall polycarbonate provides a practical and economical roofing solution where higher levels of thermal insulation are not required.

UV Protected for Exterior Use

The polycarbonate incorporates UV protection to help protect the sheet against degradation caused by prolonged exposure to sunlight.

For the best long-term performance, always install the sheet with the UV-protected face towards the outside of the roof.

Installing 10mm Twin Wall Polycarbonate

The internal channels of the sheet should always run down the direction of the roof slope. This allows condensation within the sheet structure to drain correctly.

The sheet ends should be finished using suitable sealing and breather tapes together with compatible end closures. Appropriate polycarbonate glazing bars should be used between sheets, with sufficient allowance made for thermal expansion and contraction.

Clear, Bronze or Opal Polycarbonate?

Bronze polycarbonate is ideal where natural daylight is wanted together with a tinted appearance and reduced glare.

Clear polycarbonate provides the highest natural light transmission, while Opal polycarbonate produces softer, diffused daylight and provides a more translucent appearance.
