Lightweight Alternative to Glass

Installing 10mm Twin Wall Polycarbonate

The internal channels of multiwall polycarbonate should run down the direction of the roof slope so that condensation within the sheet structure can drain correctly.

The sheet ends should be finished using suitable sealing and breather tapes together with compatible end closures. Correct glazing bars should be used between sheets and sufficient allowance should be made for thermal expansion and contraction.

Clear, Bronze or Opal Polycarbonate?

Bronze polycarbonate is ideal where you want natural daylight combined with reduced glare and an attractive tinted appearance.

Clear polycarbonate is better where maximum daylight is the priority, while Opal polycarbonate provides softer, diffused light and greater screening beneath the roof.
