Castledene GRP Door Canopy

The Castledene Door Canopy combines a clean, traditional appearance with the durability and low-maintenance benefits of GRP. It features a flat white top, smooth white fascia and decorative dentil moulding, providing an attractive finish above your entrance.

The Castledene is available with an integral gutter system or as a solid flat roof without guttering. When ordering the integral gutter option, the downpipe can be positioned on either the left or right when viewed from the front.

Bracket Options

The Castledene canopy is shown with BRG05 brackets. These are not supplied as standard and must be ordered separately if required.

BRG05 or BRG12 brackets can be used with this canopy.

Made-to-Measure Castledene Canopies

The Castledene is also available made to measure. The minimum order value is based on 2m² at £489.65, with an additional charge of £235 per extra square metre or part metre.

Made-to-measure orders must be placed by fax or post.

Important Measurement Information

The size ordered is the total external frame size.

When the canopy is delivered, there will be an additional 180mm due to the frame size plus the shape of the moulding. Please check the specification sheet carefully before ordering to ensure you understand the finished dimensions.

GRP products are made to order and non-returnable. Please ensure your measurements are correct and that you have selected the appropriate product and options for your requirements.

Standard Fitting Instructions

1. Mark out and pre-drill 6mm holes at approximately 300mm centres along the canopy flanges.
2. Offer the canopy up to the wall and centralise it above the door opening.
3. Mark the position of the bracket assembly if brackets are being fitted, ensuring your markings are straight and level.
4. Position the brackets at each side of the door opening and drill and plug the wall using a 7mm masonry drill bit.
5. Screw the brackets to the wall using the supplied 3-inch screws and plugs.
6. Lift the canopy onto the brackets and centralise it over the door opening.
7. Drill and plug the wall as before, using the supplied 2-inch screws and plugs.
8. Cover all visible screw heads with the appropriate coloured screw caps.
9. Clean the canopy using soap and water or a non-abrasive cleaner.
10. Seal the canopy to the wall using an appropriate colour sealer. Sealer is not supplied.

The Castledene canopy is maintenance-free, although regular cleaning with soap and water is recommended to maintain its appearance.

Delivery Information

GRP products are delivered using dedicated transport rather than standard carrier networks. This helps reduce the risk of damage during handling and ensures your canopy arrives in good condition.

Dedicated transport requires deliveries to be planned around efficient vehicle loading, so some deliveries may take longer than others. You will be notified of the delivery day before delivery takes place.
