Conservatories can become extremely warm during sunny weather as heat builds up beneath the roof. Installing an opening polycarbonate roof vent allows warm air to escape through the highest part of the structure while helping cooler air circulate through the room.

The vent can be opened when additional airflow is required and closed securely when ventilation is not needed.

Suitable for Existing Conservatory Roofs

One of the main advantages of this roof vent is that it can be retrofitted into an existing polycarbonate conservatory roof.

This makes it possible to introduce additional ventilation without replacing the complete roofing system, making the vent particularly useful when upgrading older conservatories that become excessively warm during the summer.

Compatible with Different Polycarbonate Thicknesses

The roof vent is suitable for use with 16mm polycarbonate sheets and can also be installed with 25mm, 32mm and 35mm polycarbonate, providing excellent flexibility across different conservatory roofing systems.

Always check the existing roof construction, sheet thickness and available dimensions before cutting the polycarbonate for installation.

Pre-Assembled PVC-U Frame

The vent features high-quality UV-stabilised window-grade PVC-U frames designed for exterior roof applications.

The inner and outer frames are supplied pre-assembled with welded mitres for strength, while snap-in glazing beads help make installation straightforward.

Chrome or Brass Spindle Opener

The roof vent is available with a choice of Chrome or Brass spindle opener, allowing you to select the finish that best suits your conservatory.

An optional extendable 1.5m to 2.5m opening pole with mahogany and brass-effect detailing is also available, making it easier to operate roof vents positioned above normal reaching height.

Quick-Release Opening for Easier Cleaning

A quick-release spring-loaded latch provides convenient access to the vent, making cleaning and routine maintenance of the roof area easier.

This is particularly useful on conservatory roofs where accessing the outside surface of the vent can otherwise be difficult.

Weather-Resistant Roof Vent

The vent is designed for exposed roof applications and conforms to the relevant requirements of BS6375 and BS5368 Parts 1, 2 and 3.

Minimum 10 Degree Roof Pitch
