Made-to-Measure 1m x 3m Glass Rooflight

Each rooflight is made to measure, allowing you to specify the dimensions required for your project up to the maximum size available for this model.

  • Maximum Internal Frame Size: Approximately 1000mm x 3000mm
  • Manufacture: Made to Measure
  • Application: Flat Roofs
  • Standard Glazing: Low-E Toughened Argon-Filled Glass
  • Double & Triple Glazing Options: Available
  • Optional Guttering: Available
  • Optional Welded Cills: Available
  • Manufactured: Bristol

Important 1m x 3m Rooflight Measuring Information

The dimensions entered when ordering are the internal frame sizes.

The window profiles are approximately 70mm wide, so approximately 70mm must be added to each side when calculating the overall external frame dimensions.

The approximate external frame measurement will therefore be 140mm greater than the stated internal dimension in both directions.

1000mm x 3000mm Rooflight Size Example

A rooflight ordered at the maximum 1000mm x 3000mm internal frame size would have approximate dimensions of:

  • Internal Frame: 1000mm x 3000mm
  • Approx. External Frame: 1140mm x 3140mm

Please check the internal and external dimensions carefully before constructing the roof opening, kerb or supporting structure.

Low-E Toughened Glass Rooflight

The standard rooflight is supplied with Low-E toughened, argon-filled glazing, providing a combination of natural daylight, safety and thermal performance.

Low-E glazing incorporates a specialist coating designed to reduce heat transfer through the glass, while the argon-filled sealed units further improve the insulating performance of the glazing.

Double or Triple Glazing Options

Choose the glazing specification required for your project, with double and triple-glazed options available depending on the selected configuration.

  • Low-E Toughened Glass
  • Argon-Filled Sealed Units
  • Double Glazing
  • Triple Glazing
  • Self-Cleaning Glass Upgrade
  • Blue Tint Glass Upgrade

Self-Cleaning Glass Option

An optional self-cleaning glass upgrade is available to help reduce routine cleaning of the external glass surface.

This can be particularly useful on a larger 3 metre rooflight, where regular access to the external surface of the glazing may be difficult after installation.

Blue Tint Glass Option

Blue tint glass is also available, providing an alternative appearance while allowing natural daylight into the room below.

Select your preferred glazing specification when configuring your made-to-measure rooflight.

Durable Roof Glazing Bar System

The rooflight uses a strong roof glazing bar system designed to securely support the glass and create a durable, weather-resistant finished roof structure.

The glazing bar system provides the support required for the roof glazing while helping to make assembly and installation straightforward.

Choice of Rooflight Frame Colours

Choose from a selection of frame and roof bar finishes to coordinate your new glass rooflight with the surrounding property:

  • White
  • Rosewood
  • Mahogany
  • Light Oak

Aluminium roof bars are also available in selected finishes including Light Oak, Mahogany and Rosewood.

Optional Welded Cills

The rooflight can be supplied with optional welded cills to suit the selected configuration and installation requirements.

Select the appropriate cill option when configuring your rooflight.

Optional Guttering Pack

An optional guttering package can be supplied where rainwater collection is required around the rooflight.

The package can include Hunter Regency guttering, downpipes, brackets, spigots and appropriate angles to create an integrated rainwater system around the structure.

Optional Cresting and Finials

Decorative cresting and finials can be added where a more traditional rooflight appearance is preferred.

These optional components can be particularly suitable for conservatory-style extensions, garden rooms and properties where a more decorative glazed roof design is required.

Flat-Packed or Part-Assembled Rooflight

Choose the assembly option that best suits your installation:

  • Flat-Packed: Supplied ready for assembly on site.
  • Pre-Assembled to Glazing Stage: Main structure assembled before delivery, with the glass and finishing trims installed on site.

The appropriate option may depend on the overall size of the rooflight, access to the property and your preferred installation method.

Large 3 Metre Glass Rooflight for Flat Roof Extensions

With an internal length of up to 3 metres, this rooflight creates a substantial overhead glazed feature capable of bringing natural daylight into the centre of larger extensions and open-plan rooms.

The long rectangular design makes the 1m x 3m rooflight particularly suitable for positioning above kitchen islands, dining tables and central living areas.

Natural daylight entering from above can reach areas of a large extension that may otherwise receive limited light from conventional windows and external doors.

Ideal for Large Kitchens and Open-Plan Living

A 1000mm x 3000mm glass rooflight can create an impressive feature in a wide range of residential projects, including:

  • Large kitchen extensions
  • Kitchen islands
  • Kitchen-diners
  • Dining areas
  • Open-plan living spaces
  • Garden rooms
  • Large flat roof extensions
  • Home renovations
  • New-build projects
