Fluted GRP Porch Columns 2495mm
The Fluted GRP Porch Columns are moulded columns designed to add a classic architectural finish to porches, porticos, canopies and other building projects. Manufactured from Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP), they are lightweight, durable and maintenance-free.
The standard column height is 2495mm. The columns can be shortened using a fine-toothed handsaw, while additional height can be achieved using Column Packers.

Load-Bearing Applications
Where additional load-bearing strength is required, the hollow centre of the column can be reinforced using steel rods and concrete. This can provide the appearance of a traditional solid column while retaining the external GRP finish.
Installation
The lightweight GRP construction makes the columns easier to handle during installation. The standard 2495mm height can be reduced using a fine-toothed handsaw to suit the required finished height. Column Packers can be used where additional height is required.
