Bring natural daylight into your extension, kitchen, dining room or living space with our made-to-measure glass roof lanterns up to 1.5m x 2.0m. Manufactured to your required size, these traditional roof lanterns create an attractive glazed feature while allowing daylight to reach deep into the room below.

Our roof lanterns come complete with Low-E toughened argon-filled glass in the roof and sides as standard, with a choice of glazing upgrades, colours, opening windows and ventilation options.

Low-E Toughened Glass as Standard

Low-E toughened argon-filled glass is supplied in both the roof and side frames as standard, providing a high-quality glazed roof lantern suitable for residential extensions, conservatories and garden rooms.

The roof glass can also be upgraded to self-cleaning glass or blue-tinted glass, with double or triple-glazed options available.

Industry Preferred Roof Bar System

The lantern incorporates an industry-preferred roof bar system designed for strength, durability and straightforward installation.

The aluminium roof bars provide a strong supporting structure for the glazed roof while maintaining the traditional appearance of a roof lantern.

Roof Lantern Colour Options

A choice of profile and roof bar colours allows you to coordinate your new roof lantern with your existing windows, doors and property.

Aluminium roof bars are also available in Light Oak, Mahogany and Rosewood finishes.

Optional Opening Windows

The 70mm side frames can incorporate optional opening windows, providing additional ventilation to the room below. This can be particularly useful for roof lanterns installed above kitchens, dining areas and conservatories.

Optional Roof Vent

A roof vent can also be added to provide additional ventilation through the glazed roof. Several opening options are available depending on the level of convenience and automation required.

Manual Roof Vent

The manual vent is opened and closed using an extending operating handle. Please note that the handle is sold separately.

Electric Roof Vent

An electrically operated roof vent is available with a motorised opening mechanism. This requires connection to a suitable rocker switch, which is not supplied.

Electric Roof Vent with Climate Control

For greater convenience, an electric opening vent is available with climate control and a rain sensor, providing an automated ventilation option for your roof lantern.

Roof Lantern Size Guide

All advertised sizes are internal frame sizes. The window profiles are 70mm wide, adding approximately 140mm to the overall external frame dimensions.

The cill is approximately 160mm wide, adding approximately 320mm to the stated internal dimensions.

For a lantern manufactured at the maximum 1500mm x 2000mm internal frame size, the approximate dimensions are:

• Internal Frame: 1500mm x 2000mm
• External Frame: 1640mm x 2140mm
• External Cill: 1820mm x 2320mm

For smaller made-to-measure sizes, the external dimensions will change accordingly.

This roof lantern can be manufactured to your required dimensions up to a maximum internal frame size of 1500mm x 2000mm, allowing the lantern to be tailored to the size of your roof and room.

Important: Please check your required internal frame size carefully and allow for the additional frame and cill dimensions when preparing the supporting roof structure.
