Bring more natural daylight into your home with our made-to-measure glass roof lanterns up to 1.0m x 1.5m. Ideal for flat roof extensions, kitchens, dining rooms, garden rooms and conservatories, these traditional roof lanterns create an attractive glazed feature while helping light reach further into the room below.

Each roof lantern is manufactured to your required size up to 1000mm x 1500mm internal frame size and comes with Low-E toughened argon-filled glass in both the roof and sides as standard.

Low-E Toughened Glass as Standard

Our roof lanterns are supplied with Low-E toughened argon-filled glazing as standard, providing a high-quality glazed roof and window system.

The roof glass can also be upgraded with a choice of:

• Self-Cleaning Glass – helps reduce the amount of regular cleaning required.
• Blue Tint Glass – provides an attractive appearance while helping control bright sunlight.
• Double Glazing – available to suit your requirements.
• Triple Glazing – available as an upgraded glazing option.

Industry Preferred Roof Bar System

Our glass roof lanterns use an industry-preferred roof bar system designed to provide strength, durability and straightforward installation.

The aluminium roof bars create a strong supporting structure for the glazed roof while maintaining the traditional appearance of the lantern.

Aluminium roof bars are available in Light Oak, Mahogany and Rosewood finishes.

Optional Opening Windows

The 70mm side frames can be manufactured with optional opening windows, providing additional ventilation when required. This can be particularly useful when the roof lantern is positioned above a kitchen, dining room or conservatory.

Roof Lantern Size Guide

All advertised sizes are internal frame sizes. The 70mm window profiles increase the overall external frame dimensions by approximately 140mm – 70mm on each side.

The 160mm cill increases the overall dimensions by approximately 320mm – 160mm on each side.

For example, a lantern manufactured at the maximum 1000mm x 1500mm internal frame size will have approximate overall dimensions of:

• Internal Frame: 1000mm x 1500mm
• External Frame: 1140mm x 1640mm
• External Cill: 1320mm x 1820mm

Please remember: These external dimensions will change when ordering a smaller made-to-measure lantern.

Ideal for Flat Roof Extensions

A glass roof lantern provides an excellent way of introducing natural daylight from above, particularly where conventional windows and doors cannot bring enough light into the centre of a room.

This size is particularly suitable for kitchens, dining areas, extensions, garden rooms, conservatories and smaller flat roof projects.

Made to Measure Up To 1.0m x 1.5m

This product can be manufactured to your required dimensions up to a maximum internal frame size of 1000mm x 1500mm, giving you greater flexibility when designing your roof opening.

Important: Please check your required internal frame size carefully before ordering and allow for the additional frame and cill dimensions when constructing the supporting opening or kerb.
