Bring more natural daylight into your home with our made-to-measure glass roof lanterns up to 1.5m x 4.0m. Ideal for long flat roof extensions, kitchens, dining rooms and open-plan living areas, this impressive roof lantern creates a large glazed feature while allowing natural light to reach deep into the room below.

Each roof lantern is manufactured to your required size up to a maximum 1500mm x 4000mm internal frame size and comes complete with Low-E toughened argon-filled glass in the roof and sides as standard.

Low-E Toughened Glass as Standard

Our glass roof lanterns are supplied with Low-E toughened argon-filled glazing in both the roof and side frames as standard, providing a high-quality glazed roof system for extensions, conservatories and other living spaces.

The roof glass can also be upgraded to self-cleaning glass or blue-tinted glass, with double or triple-glazed options available.

Industry Preferred Roof Bar System

The lantern incorporates an industry-preferred roof bar system designed to provide strength, durability and straightforward installation.

The aluminium roof bars provide a strong supporting structure for the glazed roof while retaining the attractive appearance of a traditional glass roof lantern.

Roof Lantern Colour Options

A choice of profile and roof bar colours is available, making it easier to coordinate your new roof lantern with existing windows, doors and the surrounding property.

Optional Opening Windows

The 70mm side frames can incorporate optional opening windows to provide additional ventilation. These can be particularly useful when the roof lantern is installed above a kitchen, dining area or large open-plan living space.

Selecting Your Roof Vent

An optional opening roof vent can be incorporated into the glazed roof to provide additional ventilation. Three operating options are available.

Manual Roof Vent

The manual roof vent is opened and closed using an extending operating handle. Please note that the extending handle is sold separately.

Electric Roof Vent

The electric roof vent uses a motorised opening mechanism and needs to be connected to a suitable rocker switch, which is not supplied.

Electric Roof Vent with Climate Control & Rain Sensor

For greater convenience, an electric opening roof vent is available with climate control and a rain sensor, providing an automated ventilation option for your roof lantern.

1.5m x 4.0m Roof Lantern Size Guide

All advertised sizes are internal frame sizes. The window profiles are 70mm wide, adding approximately 140mm to the overall external frame dimensions.

The actual cill is approximately 160mm wide, adding approximately 320mm to the stated internal dimensions.

For a lantern manufactured at the maximum 1500mm x 4000mm internal frame size, the approximate dimensions are:

• Internal Frame Size: 1500mm x 4000mm
• External Frame Size: 1640mm x 4140mm
• External Cill Size: 1820mm x 4320mm

For smaller made-to-measure sizes, the external frame and cill dimensions will change accordingly.
